13.50 Sky Bet Lowther Stakes (Fillies’ Group 2)

LEOVANNI retained her unbeaten record with a facile success in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot, and with the step-up in trip bound to suit, she can defy his 3lb penalty. MISS LAMAI was behind the latter at Royal Ascot but shaped well in fourth and must be respected on the back of a comfortable win in Ireland.

Tips: Leovanni, Miss Lamai

14.25 Harry’s Half Million By Goffs Premier Yearling Stakes

ARIZONA BLAZE should appreciate the ease in grade after finishing third in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes last time out. This is a significant drop in class, so he’s fancied to make his class count. AN OUTLAW’S GRACE is another participant that is eased in grade, though, and should be thereabouts.

Tips: Arizona Blaze, An Outlaw’s Grace

15.00 Clipper Handicap (Heritage Handicap)

HOLLOWAY BOY has knocked on the door in all three handicap starts of late and has the class to play another prominent role. NEW IMAGE won with a bit more in hand than the winning margin indicated at Ascot last time out and a 6lb might not be enough to prevent him from going in again. I really like his credentials.

Tips: Holloway Boy, New Image

15.35 Pertemps Network Yorkshire Oaks (Fillies’ & Mares’ Group 1)

With three wins from her last four starts, including Group 2 and Group 3 wins, QUEEN OF THE PRIDE is dangerous to discount on her Group 1 debut. EMILY UPJOHN won on her only previous visit here and has the back-class to figure, while LAVA STREAM should fare better than she did in the Irish Oaks last time out.

Tips: Queen Of The Pride, Emily Upjohn, Lava Stream

16.10 British EBF & Sir Henry Cecil Galtres Stakes (Fillies’ & Mares’ Listed)

NAKHEEL has caught the eye in two starts at this level the last two times, making the frame in each of those, and with more to come, she is an appealing proposition under Jim Crowley. I’ll cover her with KARMOLOGY, who likes it here and only found one too good here last time. She warrants consideration in an open race.

Tips: Nakheel, Karmology

16.45 sensory-junction.co.uk Autism Awareness EBF Stallions Nursery

TUSCAN POINT has very little weight on her back and shaped promisingly when runner-up at Chester last time out. He is interesting off a low weight under Joe Fanning. ORIGINAL OUTLAW went close to scoring at Goodwood last time out and must be respected, as should the grade-dropping AGE OF GOLD.

Tips: Tuscan Point, Original Outlaw, Age Of Gold

17.20 British EBF Fillies’ Handicap (Heritage Handicap)

There’s a lot to like about QUEEN OF MOUGINS, who has finished third in both handicap starts and could raise her game over this longer distance. Bottom-weight AQUACELL shouldn’t be ruled out despite the step up in grade, while ALFA KELLENIC is another contender, having won her last four starts.

Tips: Queen Of Mougins, Aquacell, Alfa Kellenic
