13.50 Sky Bet Handicap (Heritage Handicap)

A repeat performance of his penultimate third-place finish at Epsom, when splitting subsequent Goodwood winners, should see DERRY LAD heavily involved.

MR MONACO won nicely at Sandown last time out and is feared most, ahead of SHADOW DANCE and bottom-weight WAFEI.

Tips: Derry Lad, Mr Monaco, Shadow Dance, Wafei

14.25 Weatherbys Hamilton Lonsdale Cup Stakes (Group 2) (British Champions Series)

POINT LONSDALE has been highly tried throughout his career and looked like he could be a serious staying force when a runaway winner of the Ormonde Stakes at Chester on his penultimate start.

He shaped well in a Group 1 race in France last time out and makes plenty of appeal for his bang-in-form stable.

Tips: Point Lonsdale

15.00 Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Gimcrack Stakes (Group 2)

ANDESITE is held in high regard by Karl Burke and looked like a top-class prospect when scoring over C&D on his debut. Having skipped Royal Ascot in favour of this contest, this son of Pinatubo is an appealing candidate.

THE STRIKIN VIKING won over C&D on debut prior to a pair of runner-up efforts at this level and is feared most, while the unbeaten CABURN must be respected, too.

Tips: Andesite, The Strikin Viking, Caburn

15.35 Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series)

Last year’s Kings Stand winner BRADSELL finished third in this race twelve months ago and warmed up for this with a sparkling reappearance in France.

He’s the top-rated runner and has every chance of going two places better. ASFOORA comes out well at the weights and has to enter calculations, while BELIEVING is having a good season and should also go well.

Tips: Bradsell, Asfoora, Believing

16.10 Assured Data Protection EBF Fillies’ Handicap (Heritage Handicap)

CHORUS is improving with each start and opened her account in great style at Windsor last time out. Her three previous placed efforts have worked out well, and she’s in with a good chance off a low weight. Hollie Doyle takes the ride.

REACH has a win and two placed efforts in her last three C&D starts and could be competitive. Meanwhile, BINT AL DAAR won at Wolverhampton earlier this month and could also go well.

Tips: Chorus, Reach, Bint Al Daar

16.45 British Stallion Studs EBF Convivial Maiden Stakes

ANGELO BUONARROTI shaped promisingly when ninth in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes on his debut and ought to find this easier. He could be difficult to beat in these calmer waters.

His main danger could turn out to be Roger Varian’s ULTRASOUL, who only found one too good on debut at Yarmouth and has to go on the shortlist.

Tips: Angelo Buonarroti, Ultrasoul

17.20 Sky Bet Mile Handicap (Heritage Handicap)

EBT’S GUARD has to compete off a 4lb higher mark than then second at Goodwood last time out, but he would have won that race with a clear passage, and he has a good chance to make amends.

Handicap debutant DOSMAN is another to consider, while the hat trick-seeking PABORUS cannot be discounted either, with his stable in good form.

Tips: Ebt’s Guard, Dosman, Paborus
