BERONIA could only manage with at Newmarket last time out, but a repeat of either of his three earlier placed efforts would see him firmly in the mix. SCATTER PENNY will find this easier than the race she contested at York and is feared most ahead of SUNSHINE STATE, CYMBIDIUM, and LOVELY SPIRIT.

Tips: Beronia, Scatter Penny, Sunshine State, Cymbidium, Lovely Spirit

14.33 Get Home Safe With Thistle Cabs EBF Nursery

BONNIE’S BOY has only found one too good on each of his three starts and must be respected for a stable that does well here. LOVAT SCOUT had excuses when finishing last of six at Ripon last time out and cannot be ruled out, with better still to come. Karl Burke and Clifford Lee have been in top form this season.

Tips: Bonnie’s Boy, Lovat Scout

15.05 British EBF Stallions Harry Rosebery Stakes (Listed)

COTO DE CAZA made it two wins in succession with an impressive display at Goodwood back in July, and she is difficult to oppose with potential for better and the likelihood of completing a hat trick of victories. Other last-time-out winners STAR OF MEHMAS and UNCLE DON must be respected, as should the consistent KAADI.

Tips: Coto De Caza, Kaadi, Star Of Mehmas, Uncle Don

15.40 Arran Scottish Sprint EBF Fillies’ Stakes (Fillies’ & Mares’ Listed)

AZURE BLUE performed poorly last time out, but she’s won over C&D at this level and could bounce back. WOODHAY WONDER has done well in a pair of hot handicaps the last two times, and she is well worth a crack at this level on these terms. She will need more to succeed, but she’s progressive and surely has more to offer.

Tips: Azure Blue, Woodhay Wonder

16.15 Virgin Bet Ayr Bronze Cup Handicap

Having won here yesterday, ETERNAL SUNSHINE must be included if she’s turned out quickly in this contest. With four wins and two close seconds, she’s a major player. C&D winner MONSIEUR KODI is 6lb below his last winning mark and has a squeak with McSweeney claiming a further 3lb, with last year’s winner-up COLD STARE another to note.

Tips: Eternal Sunshine, Monsieur Kodi, Cold Stare

16.45 Microtech Group Handicap

JOHN L SULLIVAN caught the eye with a fast-finishing fourth here last time out, and the handicapper has given him a great chance by keeping him on the same mark. With plenty more to come, Lucinda Russell’s charge makes plenty of appeal. JEWEL MAKER looked a bit unlucky when third at Redcar when last seen and remains well handicapped on historical form.

Tips: John L Sullivan, Jewel Maker
