23rd December 2024 – (Hong Kong) A male construction worker has died following a fatal incident at a site near Man Kok Village in Sheung Shui. At approximately 9.52am today, police received reports that the worker was allegedly struck on the head by a water pipe while attempting to lift it. He fell into a coma and was subsequently transported to North District Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, which has been classified as an “industrial accident with injury.” Further details regarding the incident are expected as the investigation progresses.
