24th December 2024 – (Hong Kong) The Winter Harbourfront Pyrotechnics event dazzles the night sky over West Kowloon with vibrant bursts of colour and striking patterns! Witness a breathtaking display that captivates all who gather for this seasonal celebration.
The Winter Harbourfront Pyrotechnics event kicks off tonight at 8pm in the West Kowloon Cultural District, lasting approximately 10 minutes. As the pyrotechnics light up Victoria Harbour, cheers and excitement fill the air, creating a mesmerising spectacle for spectators.
The waterfront pyrotechnics draw crowds of locals and tourists to West Kowloon, filling the entire harbourfront with eager onlookers. Beneath the fireworks, cameras are raised to capture the moment, transforming the seaside into a twinkling scene reminiscent of a starry night sky. By early afternoon, many residents and visitors had already secured prime viewing spots along the waterfront promenade, some donning Christmas hats and enjoying picnics with snacks and drinks, while others prepared for an all-night celebration in makeshift camps.
The West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade will host the “Winter Harbourfront Pyrotechnics” for three consecutive nights, complementing the festive season with a dazzling fireworks display that spreads Christmas cheer throughout the city. Nearby, a Christmas village boasting over 10,000 square feet of festive joy adds to the holiday atmosphere.
