24th December 2024 – (Hong Kong) A disturbing incident occurred at Tai Wo Hau Estate on the evening of 24 December, involving the throwing of objects from a residential unit. Eyewitnesses reported seeing two folding chairs and a shopping cart being hurled from a window of the Fu Kwok House, generating loud thuds as they struck the ground below. The event has sparked considerable discussion online, with some describing the situation as alarming and chaotic.
Police received reports of the incident at around 7.50pm. According to authorities, a woman was seen shouting while discarding the items from the window. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the situation raised significant concerns about safety in residential areas. Following initial investigations, officers apprehended the woman involved, who was subsequently taken to Yan Chai Hospital for evaluation.
