26th December 2024 – (Hong Kong) A video circulating online from Christmas Day captures two disturbing incidents involving an allegedly intoxicated couple in Wan Chai along Hennessy Road. The footage depicts the couple initially causing a commotion on a bus, resulting in them being forcibly removed.
In the first segment, the couple boards the Bus No. 969 and causes a disturbance, prompting a passenger, clad in red, to gesture for their exit, leading to heated exchanges with onlookers shouting, “Get off the bus!” The man, upon disembarking, raises his hands in apology.
The subsequent clip shows the couple engaging in a physical altercation on the road, with the woman getting up from the ground to aggressively strike the man’s head, followed by a tussle. The man attempts to restrain the woman near a railing to prevent further aggression, leading to a tense standoff where the woman allegedly bites his hand before the video abruptly ends. The uploader of the footage comments, “Speaking Putonghua, a man and a woman suspected of being intoxicated cause a disturbance on the bus before engaging in a fight on the street.”
