26th December 2024 – (Hong Kong) At 10.36am today, a hiker travelling from the High Island Reservoir East Dam in Sai Kung to Long Ke Wan in Biu Tsim Kok came across a distressing scene. A middle-aged man, approximately 50 years old, was discovered lying on the ground with signs of breathing, alongside a tent. Concerned for his safety, the witness promptly alerted the authorities for assistance.
The Government Flying Service responded to the call, rescuing the man who had fallen into unconsciousness, and rushing him to the Eastern District Hospital.
