30th December 2024 – (Hong Kong) Zhao Wei, a mainland Chinese actress, tied the knot with businessman Huang You Long in 2008 and welcomed a daughter. However, recent reports have surfaced detailing Huang’s substantial debts. On the 28th, Zhao Wei took to Weibo to announce their divorce several years ago, stating, “Our marriage has long been legally dissolved,” and emphasized that she bears no responsibility for his actions or recent events. Moreover, there are allegations suggesting Huang You Long may have engaged in an extramarital affair with a tutor, leading to the formation of a new family.
A mainland blogger, followed by 100,000 individuals, recently posted a message, initially expressing gratitude for the support towards Zhao Wei. However, the tone shifted as the blogger asserted that Huang should take responsibility for his actions rather than placing blame on Zhao Wei.
Providing a timeline, the blogger stated that “In 2019, Zhao Wei had already separated from Huang and was in the process of divorcing him, but Huang delayed signing the papers while residing abroad. The situation was further complicated in 2020 due to the pandemic, and it wasn’t until 2021, post an incident, that Huang finally agreed to the divorce.” Furthermore, the blogger revealed that “Huang has already formed a new family abroad” and urged the public not to believe or circulate rumours.
The post stirred intense discussions online, with comments suggesting, “During their marriage, the ex-husband had an affair with a tutor, and has been in the process of divorce ever since,” hinting at Huang’s remarriage and the birth of a child with the said woman. Both Zhao Wei and Huang You Long have yet to respond to these allegations.
