1st January 2025 – (Hong Kong) An incident at MTR Sheung Shui Station escalated yesterday afternoon as a mother and son were embroiled in a heated argument with a delivery worker from a popular bakery. The delivery person accused the duo of pilfering a bag of bread from a delivery tray, prompting an angry response from the pair.

The confrontation, which occurred around 1.15pm, was captured on video by bystanders. The mother and son vehemently denied the allegations, with the son proclaiming, “You say it’s for eating, then take it!” The argument intensified as the son insisted they had just purchased bread and were merely confused by the delivery worker’s claims.

Bystanders intervened, raising questions about the situation while the son defended their actions, asserting that they had bought the same type of bread. The exchange became increasingly animated, with the delivery worker requesting the son to calm down, which only fueled his frustration.

As the dispute unfolded, the son picked up discarded bread from the ground, insisting it did not belong to them but was instead their purchased item. He reiterated his stance against the delivery worker’s accusations, demanding an apology.
