2nd January 2025 – (Krasnoyarsk) At around 8am local time today, a passenger aircraft from S7 Airlines, also known as Siberia Airlines, experienced a serious incident while landing at Norilsk Airport in the Krasnoyarsk region of Russia. The aircraft, which was carrying 79 passengers, veered off the runway after completing its landing.
According to reports from the West Siberian Transportation Prosecutor’s Office, the airplane deviated from the runway while turning near the taxiway. As a precautionary measure, the flight has been temporarily grounded. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries among those onboard.
