14.15 British EBF Restricted Novice Stakes

AMERICAN STYLE’s head-second at Leicester was boosted when the winner Pentle Bay subsequently finished runner-up in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot. That is the best form on offer, so with more to come, Kevin Ryan’s charge should be able to go one better.

Tips: American Style

14.45 BresBet Rewards Loyalty Handicap

THE CRAFTY MOLE is unbeaten in two starts over this trip and made it three wins from his past four starts with a comfortable victory at Yarmouth last Friday. Even with a 6lb penalty to shoulder, he’s the one to beat. Of the remaining representatives, SHADOWOFYOURSMILE could improve for the step up in trip now eased in grade.

Tips: The Crafty Mole, Shadowofyoursmile

15.15 British EBF Novice Stakes

The Reverend looked good when winning on debut at Newmarket eight months ago, but the race-fit THUNDER RUN might have his measure on this occasion. Karl Burke’s participant made a promising start to his career when second at Wetherby 22 days ago and could be hard to beat with potential for better.

Tips: Thunder Run

15.45 Weatherbys ePassport Handicap (Div 1)

GEORGIE WOOSTER had plenty in hand when scoring at Redcar on handicap debut last time, and despite being hit with a 9lb rise for that success, this three-year-old should remain competitive. Bottom-weight BITS AND BOBS has fallen to a career-low mark and could outrun his odds if the first-time visor does the trick.

Tips: Georgie Wooster, Bits And Bobs

16.20 Weatherbys ePassport Handicap (Div 2)

Rated as high as 88 two years ago, KING’S CROWN offered a potential revival when keeping on well to finish sixth at Chester last time out and could be the answer to this wide-open contest off a 2lb lower mark. Ed Walker’s ARNAZ made a winning handicap debut at Brighton two starts ago and is feared most.

Tips: King’s Crown, Arnaz

16.55 Weatherbys Global Stallions App Handicap

FIRST FOLIO finished a solid third over C&D last September off a 7lb higher mark and is now 10lb below his last winning mark, so he’s extremely well-handicapped at present. STRONG JOHNSON is lurking on a dangerous mark, though, and the bottom-weight looks very interesting, with David Allan booked to ride.

Tips: First Folio, Strong Johnson
