6th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) Around 6pm this evening, the MTR Corporation reported disruptions to the East Rail Line services heading towards Lo Wu due to a train fault near Exhibition Centre Station. Passengers travelling between Admiralty Station and Lo Wu/Lo Ma Chau stations were informed to expect an additional delay of 15 to 20 minutes.
By approximately 6.21pn, the MTR confirmed that the faulty train had been removed from the main line, and services on the East Rail Line are progressively returning to normal.Share
