6th January 2025 – (Beijing) On Monday, Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made a compelling call for a resolute and comprehensive campaign against corruption. Speaking at the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, Xi, who also holds the positions of Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, stressed the importance of rigorous governance within the Party, alongside a commitment to reform.
