INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT OPPORTUNITIES (SEPTEMBER – NOVEMBER 2024 INTAKE)

In line with the Government’s commitment to support youth empowerment, Kenya Power is offering exciting attachment opportunities to continuing students, to gain hands-on work experience and develop key employability skills.

The industrial attachment opportunities are available in various Departments for a maximum period of three (3) months effective September to November 2024.

Requirements

Interested candidates should:

  1. Be available full time for the duration of the program (3 months).
  2. Be a continuing student, pursuing a Degree, Diploma, or Craft Certificate (above stated fields only), from an accredited learning Institution.
  3. Have a valid introduction letter from the respective learning Institution.

How to Apply

During Industrial Attachment, you are paid Ksh 25,000 to Ksh 40,000 per month. The salary is taxed.

After the attachment, you will get stand a chance to get employed as a permanent employee of Kenya Power. If you get employed on permanent basis, you will earn over Ksh 120,000 per month.

Yes, it’s arguably the best parastatal to work for. With a diploma course, you will earn Ksh 80,000 to Ksh 120,000 as the starting salary. With undergraduate degree you will earn over Ksh 130,000 monthly.
