13.40 Rossdales British EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes

Plenty of guesswork is required in the opener, but newcomers DESERT FLOWER and DUTY FIRST are bred to be useful and could prove capable of making an impact. FLIGHT shaped quite nicely when second on her debut and could do the best of those with experience, with Ryan Moore booked to ride.

Tips: Desert Flower, Duty First, Flight

14.12 Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa Fillies’ Handicap

HARD TO RESIST and HERITAGE HOUSE have both taken a walk on the market, but they have some useful pattern-class form in the book and could run well. ARISAIG will find this easier than when she finished eighth in the Sandringham last time out and cannot be ruled out off the same mark.

Tips: Hard To Resist, Heritage House, Arisaig

14.50 bet365 Mile Handicap

LIVEANDLETLIVE beat a pair of subsequent winners when completing a double at Haydock last time, and despite being hit with a 6Ib higher mark, he should make a bold bid to complete the hat trick. TREASURE TIME opened his account in good style at Newmarket last time out and is feared most.

Tips: Liveandletlive, Treasure Time

15.25 bet365 Superlative Stakes (Group 2)

Charlie Appleby has trained the winner in four of the last eight renewals, with William Buick winning on three of those, and there’s a lot to like about the unbeaten ANCIENT TRUTH. He should be hard to beat with C&D-winning form in the book. Chesham runner-up PENTLE BAY is also noted.

Tips: Ancient Truth, Pentle Bay

16.00 bet365 Bunbury Cup

CARRYTHEONE finished his race off with a rattle when third in the Buckingham Palace off this mark and would have been closer without meeting traffic problems. He could easily make amends, while MOSTABSHIR, who was a place behind the former last time out, could have more to offer off the same mark, too.

Tips: Carrytheone, Mostabshir

16.35 July Cup Stakes

REGIONAL is a Group 1 winner over this trip and only found one too good when second in the King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot. He must be respected back over his optimum trip, as should subsequent Commonwealth Cup winner INISHERIN. The latter is the one they all have to beat.

Tips: Regional, Inisherin
