Gavin Sheehan’s mount can compete off only a 1lb higher mark, so he could be hard to beat off 91 tackling this shorter distance.

RESTANDBETHANKFUL has lots of winning and placed form off higher marks and only found one too good when runner-up off this mark over C&D last month. That form has worked out extremely well, as four horses he had in behind have emerged as subsequent winners. He’s a major player down in grade.

14.45 Womens Community Matters Maiden Hurdle
REACH FOR THE MOON was sent off as the favourite to make it third time lucky over hurdles at Stratford last time out but was carried out at an early stage through no fault of his own. He remains with potential given he was rated as high as 113 on the Flat, so compensation could be forthcoming for Jamie Snowden’s charge.

NATIVE FIGHTER has a good record here with two course wins to his name and went close when runner-up at this course last August off a much higher mark. The 10-year-old should be approaching peak fitness after two spins here this year and he’s the choice of Charlotte Jones.

CARCACI CASTLE was dominant when winning at Hexham last time out and the handicapper has only raised his mark by 3lb as a result. He is back up in grade, but he has more to come in this sphere and should make a bold bid to repeat the dose.

ILIKEDWAYURTHINKIN was very decent in his prime when formerly trained by Gavin Cromwell and capitalised on a reduced mark when an easy winner over C&D last month. Even an 8lb higher mark might not be enough to stop him from scoring again here.
