AL AASY should get this race run to suit, and his close-up second to Adelaide River reads very good form. He can reverse latest form with Phantom Flight. AIMERIC has only found one too good the last two times and should be in the mix.

TRUE LEGEND has consistently knocked on the door in competitive handicaps in the last twelve months and has a great chance of getting head in front. Last-time-out winners FAIRBANKS and ALIGN THE STARS are others to consider.

15.00 Qatar Lillie Langtry Stakes (Fillies’ And Mares’ Group 2)
MELO MELO went close in a Group 1 race last year, and although she’s not been at her best in two starts this year, I think she’s a serious player over this trip. FREE WIND and CAIUS CHORISTER have the form to play leading roles.

15.35 Coral Stewards’ Cup (Heritage Handicap)
APOLLO ONE came close to winning this last year when a neck-second on unfavourable heavy ground and could go one better off only a 2lb higher mark. PUROSANGUE is well treated on the back of a second in a Group 3 race and is feared most, ahead of outsider ROCKET RODNEY.

16.10 Whispering Angel Handicap
INDIAN RUN has Group 3-winning form to his name and wasn’t disgraced in a deeper race at Royal Ascot last time out. He is an interesting contender on his handicap debut. BALLYMOUNT BOY and MISSION TO MOON have leading credentials and must make the shortlist.

16.45 British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes
HOTT SHOTT displayed sheer promise when third in a hot race on debut at Kempton, and with more to come, Richard Hughes’ charge could go close. CASPIAN KING looked in need of the experience on his debut at Sandown but should improve and should be thereabouts.
