13.50 Coral Daily Rewards Shaker Handicap
GOODWOOD ODYSSEY threw the race away at Newmarket last time out when drifting markedly left. He has been left on the same mark for that third-place finish, though, and the blinkers could help him concentrate. The hat trick-seeking SUBSEQUENT and the unexposed FRENCH DUKE are others to consider.

14.25 Visit Qatar Oak Tree Stakes (Fillies’ & Mares’ Group 3)
JABAARA ran very well when second in the Falmouth last time out, despite the trio stretching her stamina, and should prove hard to beat back over 7f in this easier race. KATHMANDU went close in a Group 1 in her penultimate outing and is feared, while RAQIYA could improve for the step-up in trip after winning three of her six starts.

15.00 Jaeger-Lecoultre Molecomb Stakes (Group 3)
AMESTRIS was unlucky not to finish closer in the Queen Mary last time out, and given she has a lot of speed, this course should play to her strengths. SOLDIER’S HEART impressed over C&D last time out and should go well, as should the grade-dropping CELANDINE. This is a quality race!

15.35 Qatar Sussex Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series)
HENRY LONGFELLOW won all three starts as a juvenile and finished runner-up in last month’s St James’s Palace. He commands plenty of respect as Ballydoyle’s only runner in the feature race. 2000 Guineas winner NOTABLE SPEECH disappointed behind the former last time out but should be able to bounce back and is the biggest danger.

16.10 British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Handicap
WISPER is largely consistent and was only beaten a half-length at Windsor last time. She will get a strong pace to aim at, with conditions in her favour, and should go well. TRUE WISDOM looks well-handicapped on the pick of her form, and despite failing to run to form here last time, she is the type to resume her progress. I really like her chances.

16.45 British Stallion Studs EBF Alice Keppel Fillies’ Conditions Stakes
CONVO has been highly tried in her last three starts and is dropped in grade after finishing a respectable fifth in a Group 2 race last time out. I can see her vital speed coming into effect at this venue, so she’s expected to run well for the Amy Murphy team. COTO DE CAZA bolted up at Beverley last time and could be anything, so she’s the definite alternative.

17.20 HKJC World Pool Handicap
METAVERSE won with quite a bit to spare at Newmarket last time out, and a 3lb rise might not be enough to prevent him from scoring again. BLUE PRINCE can be forgiven for his latest Chester sixth-place finish and remains well-handicapped on the pick of his form. He should be a serious player.
