Safaricom offers you a chance to own a smartphone through their Lipa Mdogo Mdogo plan. The first condition is that you should have high credit score. Make sure that you repay all your loans. Safaricom will check whether you have never defaulted on their loans. They might even go as far as CRB to check whether your details are listed there.
To get the loan, you should also be aged 18 to 75. If you are aged below 18 years and want the phone, you can get it through your parent.
Another condition for getting the phone on loan is that you should be in Safaricom network for at least 1 year. Safaricom will first check on this then look at your eligibility on Mpesa.They will see whether you are capable of repaying the loan.

To get any of the phones above, your Mpesa should indicate that you transact over Ksh 2000 per week or at least Ksh 5,000 per month through your Mpesa.
The interest of the phones is 60% to 70%, which is quite high. You better buy in cash than on loan.
