Willis Raburu Girlfriend Sally Mbilu
Willis Raburu made headlines back in 2014 when he went down on one knee in a fairy-tale-like fashioned proposal at the very place in which he had his first date with a girlfriend, Sally Mbilu.
“It was at a waterfall, where we had our first date. She was extremely shocked and had mixed reactions, but I was very confident that she would say yes,” Willis gave a detailed description of the magical moment.
But as life would turn out to be Willis Raburu separated with his girlfriend of two years, Sally Mbilu. Sources said the two decided to end their marriage after Willis discovered that Sally is older than him by 5 years while Sally accused Willis of not managing his weight despite being told, by even experts, the risks of being overweight.
Willis and Sally are both employees of Royal Media Services but colleagues say the two don’t talk to each other anymore. More shocking is that Sally removed the Ksh. 100,000 ring that Willis bought for her and dumped it on his desk. In late 2015, It is reported that the two exchanged bitter words, which prompted the management to cool matters by allocating their duties where they could not meet at any point. Others say that Sally left Willis after she caught him red-handed in bed with another woman. But the truth in this latter allegation leaves many questions unanswered since it happened in 2016 and the actual separation happened in late 2015.
Willis Raburu’s Wife
In 2017, Willis married Mary Ngami in an invite-only ceremony that came as a surprise since it happened a year later after breaking up with journalist Sally Mbilu. From that time on, he started sharing photos of her on social media, something which he had not done since they started dating. The two met in the church through a friend.
We met in church, at Jubilee Christian Church through my friend Pablo. He introduced me, and when I saw her, I was like, “God Lord Hallelujah,” But even though I noticed her fineness, I didn’t do anything as I was still in a relationship. About a year passed by after we met.
At first, Willis was reluctant about starting a relationship with her since he didn’t know if she loved ‘Willis on TV’ or just Willis. At one point, he broke his knee, and the only person who would visit him regularly was her. Contrary to what Raburu expected, she didn’t ask for anything but instead gave him many things. That was when he realized she was wife material. Willis proposed to her three months before they tied the knot in the invite-only wedding.
Their honeymoon experience was, however, not as good as they revealed recently. Mary Prude Ngami hails from Murang’ a County. She is very prayerful. Raburu admitted that she is who he is today because of her. In August last year, she had her first birthday since she got married. The Citizen TV journalist wished her a happy birthday on social media but didn’t disclose her real age. This left many fans estimating Willis Raburu’s wife’s age.
