13.50 Andy Thornton Hospitality Furniture Apprentice Handicap

This is wide-open, but HECTIC has made the frame several times off higher marks and has improved with every start this year. A repeat of his penultimate fourth over C&D should see him in the mix. THE TURPINATOR finished third over C&D last year off a similar mark, but this time he has a claimer on his back, so he could get involved.

Tips: Hectic, The Turpinator

14.25 CGE Yorkshire Rous Selling Stakes

I LOVE DAD shaped quite promisingly when third on his debut in a seller at Goodwood, and although this is tougher, he should have more to come, with Hayley Turner in the saddle. Ollie Pears’ INCONSPICUOUS also acquitted himself very well first time out when finishing fourth at Redcar and could do better.

Tips: I Love Dad, Inconspicuous

15.00 British EBF Supporting Racing With Pride Fillies’ Handicap

There are plenty of chances here. MIDREAM has won two of her four starts and didn’t disgrace herself when finishing a keeping-on third in a Listed race last time out. She is very interesting on her handicap debut, with Jamie Spencer booked to ride. KATEY CONTENT was highly tried at two and resumed winning ways at Windsor when last spotted. She’s another to merit consideration.

Tips: Midream, Katey Kontent

15.35 Juddmonte EBF Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes

BAILEYS JUBILATION has exceeded market expectations in both her starts to date, finishing fourth on her debut at Newmarket prior to faring best of those drawn high when fifth in a Listed race over C&D four weeks ago. She must be shortlisted in these calmer waters, with Jason Hart maintaining the partnership.

Tips: Baileys Jubilation

16.10 Seat Unique Handicap

The David O’Meara-trained MACHETE turned in a promising stable debut effort when finishing fourth at Redcar in the Zetland Gold Cup, and with potential for better off an unchanged mark of 93, he could be set to go close. Richard Fahey’s HAVE SECRET goes well fresh and his form off higher marks, so he could be a major player with conditions to suit.

Tips: Machete, Have Secret

16.45 Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Handicap

At a big price in the last leg, JEAN BAPTISTE could run well. He’s twice run well over C&D off higher marks in better company, and he might be able to make the frame. PARIS LIGHTS has become dangerously well-treated and caught the eye when finishing third off this mark at Nottingham last time out. He could have a say in the matter.

Tips: Jean Baptiste, Paris Lights
