8th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) In the early hours of today, paramedics received a report from staff at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital regarding a 90-year-old man, surnamed Cheung, who was found hanging in his hospital room, allegedly using clothing.
Rescue personnel arrived promptly and discovered the man unconscious. Despite efforts to revive him, he was later pronounced dead. Authorities did not find a suicide note at the scene, and the cause of death is pending an autopsy.
