14.30 Chesham Stakes

AGE OF GOLD overcome inexperience to make a sparkling debut at Yarmouth, winning eased down, and could turn out to be top-class being a son of the mighty Frankel. He makes lots of appeal in the opener and is fancied to defeat Bedtime Story. BRIAN came close to beating subsequent Coventry Stakes fourth Cool Hoof Luke and could go well at large odds. PENTLE BAY completes the shortlist.

Tips: Age Of Gold, Brian, Pentle Bay

15.05 Hardwicke Stakes

CONTINUOUS lacks a recent run compared to all of his rivals, but he’s the class act in the field and has the beating of a few of these. Last seen finishing fifth in the Arc, the St Leger winner should be ready for this and will be very hard to beat. ELEGANT MAN will be suited to these conditions and remains unexposed on the turf, so he’s another to consider.

Tips: Continuous, Elegant Man

15.45 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes

BELIEVING ran a huge race to finish fourth in the King Charles III Stakes here earlier in the week and will be better suited to going back up in trip, so she’s a definite for the shortlist. THE WIZARD OF EYE should get a good pace to aim at and is well worth a crack at this after winning the Victoria Cup last time out. He’s another to consider in what is an open renewal.

Tips: Believing, The Wizard Of Eye

16.25 Jersey Stakes

River Tiber beat HAATEM when taking the Coventry Stakes last year, but the latter has improved enormously since. Richard Hannon’s charge won the Craven Stakes prior to placing in both the English and Irish 2000 Guineas and should make a bold bid. NEVER SO BRAVE is improving and feared, while NIGHT RAIDER is better than he showed last time out.

Tips: Haatem, Never So Brave, Night Raider

17.05 Wokingham Stakes

Irish raider TORIVEGA caught the eye when an unlucky third at the Curragh last time out and shaped very nicely in various Listed/Group races last year. He looks well handicapped off a mark of 98 and should be competitive. FLAMING RIB has good course form being a former runner-up in a Group 1 here and could outrun his odds, while WODAO may emerge as another horse to exceed market expectations under Spencer.

Tips: Torivega, Flaming Rib, Wodao

17.40 Golden Gates Stakes

HAND OF GOD made a successful handicap debut/reappearance in the Esher Cup at Sandown and has been saved for this race since. He has only been raised 3lb in the handicap, so he’s sure to be in the mix. APPROVAL won very comfortably at Windsor last time out and makes his handicap debut off a lenient mark, so he can also be included.

Tips: Hand Of God, Approval
