30th December 2024 – (Hong Kong) At just 33 years old, TVB actress Sisley Choi, the first runner-up in Miss Hong Kong 2013, has established herself as a beloved figure in the industry with numerous popular television dramas to her credit. Recently, she ventured to Tai On Building in Sai Wan Ho, where she sought to cultivate a more relatable and down-to-earth image, effectively reinventing her public persona.
During her visit, Choi filmed a food video while dressed in a pink sleeveless top paired with a flowing white skirt, which appeared semi-transparent under the lighting. With her long hair cascading down and a warm smile, she engaged in friendly conversations with shop owners. Many noted her noticeable weight loss, to which she humorously remarked, “I look ten pounds heavier on camera.”
After enjoying satay fish balls, she continued her culinary adventure with deep-fried delicacies, including stuffed crispy eggs and intestines. Choi also expressed her appreciation for her crew by treating them to drinks from a nearby bubble tea shop. Demonstrating her adaptability, she cleverly used a microphone clipped to her drink straw while filming, earning her accolades from fans for her spontaneity. Choi’s talent has not gone unnoticed; she won the Most Popular Female Character award at the 2017 TVB Anniversary Awards for her role in the legal drama Legal Mavericks. Her portrayal in the sequel, Legal Mavericks 2020, earned her the Best Actress award at the 2020 ceremony, making her the first post-90s TVB actress to achieve this honour and the second youngest after Ada Choi in 1998.
